High Altitude Balloon Launch



On April 26, 2013, geography 336 students launched their high altitude balloon equipped with a Flip video camera and a GPS tracker.  The balloon reached 100,000 feet before bursting and parachuting to the ground.  Using the GPS tracker, the balloon was recovered nearly 80 miles west of the launch site in Marshfield Wisconsin.
